Pieper Courses : Discount Program

Pieper Bar Review provides the discounts to graduating law students sitting for the New York State Bar Exam for the first time:

1. $500 Academic Journal or Moot Court Credit
2. $100 Credit for Every Semester on the Dean’s List
3. $300 Captain John G. Pieper, USA, Ret., Military Service Scholarship Credit
4. $100 New York State Bar Association or City Bar Association Member Benefit Credit.

*Students are only eligible for one $100 bar association credit (even if they are members of both the NYSBA and the City Bar) and one $500 academic journal or moot court credit (even if they are members of an academic journal and moot court). The credit for membership on an academic journal is available for students who were selected to work on a regularly published academic journal as a result of their GPA and their participation and performance in the school’s journal writing competition. Similarly, the credit for membership on moot court is available for students who were selected to the school’s primary moot court team as a result of their GPA and their participation and performance in the school’s moot court competition. Credits for non-refundable deposits paid to competitors are given only for deposits on Full Bar Review Courses (deposits on shorter/supplemental courses do not qualify). Pieper Bar Review is the sole arbiter of eligibility for all discounts, so if you are unsure of your eligibility, email us at staff@pieperbar.com or call us at 1.800.635.6569 Proof of eligibility for all discounts and credits (academic journal or moot court membership, bar association membership, dean’s list achievement, United States military service, and non-refundable deposits paid to competitors) and satisfaction of account balance must be provided before a bar review course admission card will be issued. Credits listed above are available to all graduating law students sitting for the New York State Bar Exam for the first time. Students who have previously taken the New York State Bar Exam and qualify for repeater pricing are not eligible.

Note: Since you are investing an enormous amount of time and effort to prepare for the New York State Bar Examination, we encourage you to consider maximizing your return by sitting for a second state's bar examination.  Please peruse the above websites to learn more about the local bar examinations given in neighboring states on the Thursday, immediately following the New York and Multistate exams given on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of February and July, respectively.  By following the procedures outlined therein, you can in just three days take two bars and become admitted to practice in two states.
